

Spread over several levels, The Hong Kong Club at Hotel Andaz Delhi is much more than an ordinary restaurant. Hong Kong Club is an upscale food court, a retail space and bar lounge demarcated by subtle changes in ambiance. Situated in a glass pavilion in the central courtyard of the hotel, the restaurant makes a striking statement. We were struck by its soaring, double-height island bar which does double duty as a lounge with live music to an electrifying vibe. Enter from the street entrance to fully experience the Club’s unique atmosphere, which beggars description.
Inspired by Hong Kong’s sophisticated fine-dining restaurants as well as traditional dim sum teahouses and small street corner restaurants, the Club offers modern Cantonese dishes and small plate servings. The authentic Cantonese fare prepared by five chefs from mainland China in the bustling open-kitchen is orchestrated by Chef de Cuisine Fuhai of the Hong Kong Club in conjunction with Executive Chef Alex Moser of Andaz Delhi. Says Moser,“We have created a modern menu with punchy flavours and the occasional edgy twist, using carefully sourced ingredients and time-honoured techniques brought up-to-date.â€

Along with the finest wines and spirits, you can choose from a range of innovative cocktails that create a kaleidoscope of colour and flavour. The cocktails draw on Indian and Chinese myth to match the 12 signs of the Chinese Zodiac. Served with a flourish by the enthusiastic staff who have been trained at the London Bartenders Collective, the drinks set you in the right frame of mind to enjoy the rest of the evening. Comprising 290 covers with an additional 40 covers at the mezzanine level, the Hong Kong Club aims to be many things to many people. The main restaurant also has a lounge and two private dining rooms as well as various dining nooks and spaces if you are looking for a quiet intimate evening. What’s more, with liquor and music in full flow till the wee hours of the morning, you can rock the night away if you wish!
