Wedding bells at Sommelier India

Co-Publisher of Sommelier India, Shiv Singh decided to tie the knot with Dr. Rohini Luthra this January. The nuptials took place in New Delhi. The actual wedding ceremony was a dignified affair conducted according to the Sikh rites for close friends and family. This was preceded by a Champagne Lunch at Tikli Bottom and Dinner and Dance at the Hyatt Regency. wedding1.jpg

A Luncheon Reception for some 600 people on the lawns of a 1920s style Lutyens bungalow was the grand finale. The wines served during the week long celebrations and greatly enjoyed by all were quality Indian wines – Sula Brut, Grover’s La Reserve and Grover’s Sauvignon Blanc. An exception to the only Indian wine rule was the Moet & Chandon served at Tikli Bottom.
