The Bangalore Wine Club (BWC) is all set to unveil the next edition of the Indian Wine Village on August 31, 2014 at the ITC Gardenia. As the event is taking place after a gap of a few years, Aslam Gafoor, BWC vice-president sees it as the Club’s commitment to Indian winemakers and companies. He shares the details with Sommelier India
We will have around twelve participants this year. The wine companies were requested to present their latest and “special” wines. We have had intense discussions with them as to the number of wines they can present and make available for tasting.
The participating companies are Chandon India, Pernod Ricard, Big Banyan, KRSMA, Four Seasons, Grover Zampa, Sula Vineyards, Myra, SDU, Charosa, Fratelli and Turning Point.
The event starts at 11.30 am at The Botania. The venue will be arranged to provide a suitable atmosphere in which to sample the latest Indian wines and enjoy a well thought out buffet put together by the ITC Gardenia F&B team. Special offers will be available for the purchase of wines.
