Well into its ninth edition, Sula’s two-day Gourmet World Music Festival from Feb 6th to 7th proved to be a roaring success. Over 10,000 people who descended on the winery at Nashik experienced a mix of great music, gourmet food and activities like foot massages, tarot reading, grape stomping, etc. And of course there was lots of wine from Sula, their wine partner Hardys, Asahi Super Dry Beer, Cointreau, Grant’s Family Reserve Whiskey, Jägermeister and Stolichnaya Vodka.
The music was the highlight of the event with The Cat Empire’s performance on Saturday, Feb 6th followed by the soulful Kailasa on Sunday on the stage “Atmasphere”. Others who rocked the show included Israel’s Balkan beat box, France’s Dub Inc, Spain’s Made in Barcelona and Reggae Rajahs from India apart from others.
