Rioja is regarded for its contemporary Tempranillo-Grenache blend based heavy reads. To that, Crianza is a wine that is ‘rested’ for a minimum of 12 months in oak and bottle to add finesse and depth to the wine. I Berricos is a wonderful easy-drinking red from the Torres family which breaks the shackles of a text-book Rioja red to be a 100% Tempranillo. Sweet red fruity palate with floral and perfumed appeal, smooth round texture, complexity or restrained elegantly played oak and a mid-weight body finishing on the note of sweet spices. Great with Tapas and lighter red meat dishes, spicy Indian curries, and if you wish to go easy then even with Sangria-mixes.
Michele Chiarlo Dogajolo Bianco, Tuscany, ITALY Ace Beverages, INR1300
A baby Super-Tuscan white wine with a vivacious character and a charming appeal, a perfect Summer wine. Moscato and Sauvignon Blanc based, this wine has attractive notes of sweet white fruits, orange blossom, summer flowers, and a perfumed character with a flex of residual sugar making it an effortless drink. Great with salads, white sauce-based/vegetarian pastas, grilled white meats, and even lowsweetness desserts. Serve it chilled!!
