Moët & Chandon created exclusive cuvées for both the Silver and Golden Jubilee celebrations of Queen Elizabeth II, and now in 2012, it has produced an exclusive Cuvée in honour of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. The company was first granted a Royal Warrant by Queen Victoria in 1893 in recognition of the quality of its Champagnes, which was reaffirmed by the Queen in 1955.
Jo Thornton, Managing Director of Moët Hennessy UK commented: “Moët & Chandon is honoured to toast HM Queen Elizabeth’s remarkable reign with exclusive labels to commemorate and celebrate the Diamond Jubilee.”
Unlike the previous occasions, the Royal Household has given approval for the bottles to be sold. Diamond Jubilee bottles of Moët & Chandon Impérial are now available at various London stores such as Waitrose, Fortnum & Mason, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and Harrods, and no doubt will soon available around the world.
