venissa1a.jpgStash those clichéd presents away and think out of the box. Plan to surprise your significant other or a special friend by booking them a course in fine cuisine….on an island in Venice! Sign up for a special course in fine cuisine with Chef Antonia Klugmann in the Venissa Michelin-starred restaurant that is reopening in February on Valentine’s Day. The “Il Gusto di Venissa” or Taste of Venice courses for a maximum of eight people include a gourmet and cultural tour of Venice and its hidden treasures. If you wish, you can also stay overnight, with the use of the motor launch Venissa to get around.
Participants will be able to cook and taste a complete Michelin-star meal, learning with Antonia Klugmann how to source ingredients on the estate, the islands and the most important markets, such as Rialto’s picturesque fish market among others.
To top it all will be a dinner with its tasting menu in Restaurant Venissa along with the tasting of the second vintage of the Golden Symbol of Venice in the company of Matteo Bisol. Chef Klugman who is very upbeat about her course said,
“I’ve always wanted to create a space preceding the dinner in which the guest becomes part of the creative process opening up to the idea that the ingredients are truly the main source of all inspiration.”
