Globus sets its sights on the UK consumer


miazma ele.jpgGlobus Wines is now selling its Miazma brand of wines to select Indian restaurants and the UK consumer via its website By opening an internet channel, Miazma has become the first Indian wine company to set up online sales in the UK and take the Indian wine experience direct to consumers.

The logistics of returns, refunds and shipping are taken care of by the company’s UK subsidiary Globus Wines UK Ltd. Orders are processed and delivered in three to four days. A smooth buying experience is assured by Globus backed with total customer privacy as well as theft and fraud protection measures.
“This was a platform we were missing,” said Karan Jain, founder of Globus Wines.
“Online shopping has become such an integral part of the UK market for customers wishing to buy in the comfort of their home. This avenue allows us to do target this segment.”
Established in 2004, Globus Wines have set their sights high as producers of India’s most expensive wine and have ambitious plans to export their wines globally. Miazma Chenin Blanc, Shiraz and Rosé is available in the UK for £15 for the regular style and £17 for the reserve.
