Dubreuil to step down from Rémy Cointreau


According to latest news reports, Dominique Hériard Dubreuil intends to resign from her position as chairman of Rémy Cointreau, at the end of 2012. She announced her intention at the Combined General Meeting and recommended that her brother, François Hériard Dubreuil, be appointed as chairman of the Rémy Cointreau Group.

Hériard Dubreuil, took over as chairman from her father in 1998 and helped to turn around the fortunes of the company. Prior to being named chairman, she was already a part of the team working with her brothers. Dominique Hériard Dubreuil attributes Rémy Cointreau’s success to its long-term vision and consistent strategy.
“In line with this spirit,” she was quoted as saying, ” I would be delighted if François Hériard Dubreuil could provide continuity and strengthen our family’s involvement in the strategic direction of the Rémy Cointreau Group and its teams, both in France and internationally.”
