There are days when it may appear that the wine world couldn’t get any stranger. Upon hearing that some wine lovers enthusiastically decant their wines by putting them in blenders for 30-60 seconds made me feel that it was one of those days. Apparently, by just using an ordinary kitchen blender on high you can get a better decanted wine than by any other method. It works best with young wines but also works with a 1982 Chateau Margaux.
