If you’ve done the rounds of winery visits and vineyard tours and are looking for a luxury getaway like no other set in the midst of vineyards, look no further. The Leeu Collection with three five-star boutique properties, of which the latest addition is Leeu Estates, is a dream destination.
A converted 19th century manor house, Leeu Estates opened in mid-June this year with 17 rooms and suites alongside a boutique winery. You can expect every comfort here with attentive but unobtrusive service and little luxury touches. Many of the luxurious, individually styled rooms have their own terraces and fireplaces.
Michelin quality cuisine and fine wines are served in The Dining room or on The Garden Terrace. Enjoy the extensive grounds dotted with artworks and sculptures by famous artists or repair to the Reading Room with its wide selection of books, for some quiet time with a glass of wine. The Wine Studio stocks premium wine, including their own award-winning Mullineux & Leeu Family Wines. The Leeu Spa is a wellness sanctuary where you can enjoy quality time of another kind.
Spread over 68 hectares of indigenous vegetation, vineyards and landscaped gardens with breathtaking views of the Franschhoek valley, Leeu Estates offers an elegantly refined yet relaxed environment in a superb setting.

Leeu Esates is owned by Analjit Singh who is also a partner in Mullineux & Leeu Family Wines, started by award-winning winemakers, Chris and Andrea Mullineux as Mullineux Family Wines. The word “Leeu” is Afrikaans for lion and Singh is lion in Sanskrit, hence the name.
