The sixth edition of the Pune Wine Tasting Festival is being held on December 15 and 16 on the lawns of
Rohi Villa, Lane No. 7 Koregaon Park, Pune. The much awaited annual festival will feature wine tastings, food, art, music, dance workshops and grape stomping. “There’s something for everyone,” says B. Shankaranarayan, founder of the Pune Gourmet

Aspri, Berkmann, Fratelli, Indus, Jacob’s Creek , Nine Hills, Pause, Reveilo, Rhythm, Sansula, Vallonné and Vin & Vouloir will be offering wines for tasting, while five restaurants and catering companies will serve a wide range of Middle Eastern, French, Italian, Moghlai and BBQ dishes including kebabs, biryani, shawarma, steaks, burgers, grilled seafood and meats. Vegetarian preparations, a choice of artisan cheeses and a variety of sweet treats will also be available.
Visitors need to buy a Tasting Pass, which costs Rs. 450 if bought in advance and Rs. 500 at the gate for adults. Entry is free for children below 12 years of age if accompanied by an adult. Admission includes 10 wine tastings, a souvenir wine glass and the Indian Wine Companion, a wine guide specially created with the Indian wine enthusiast in mind. Group discounts are available for passes bought in advance on the festival website www.winefest.in.
