The Leela Palace hotel in Udaipur, has a new GM, Graham A Grant, who was previously resort manager of Hayman, Great Barrier Reef, Australia. Grant, who has great plans for the property told Sommelier India, “Our culinary offering embraces individual preference, indulgence in Rajasthani culture, creativity with highest quality produce, and paired wine from a walk-in cellar. This is combined with service that befits a feeling of regality,” he continued, “in surrounds that are stately and extend to a romantic connection with the magical backdrop of Lake Pichola.”
With so much promise in these words, a visit to the Leela Palace in Udaipur is certainly on the cards. It has to be experienced. Grant has almost two decades of international experience with leading hotels of the world, including four years with Hayman, Great Barrier Reef, an award-winning iconic Australian resort.
He said he was delighted to be joining The Leela at such an exciting time in the evolution of the brand as well as the country. “I am eager to lead the talented team in Udaipur as we continue to set new standards of luxury and exclusivity in all areas of hospitality.”
