The latest recipients of the Wine Intelligence 10 for 10 Wine Business Awards are Etienne Hugel, owner of Hugel & Fils, Sir George Fistonich, owner of Villa Maria Estate and winemaker Demei Li of the Beijing Agricultural College. The winners were announced at a ceremony following the Wine Intelligence Seminar at Vinexpo Asia Pacific in Hong Kong on May 29, 2012, at the Third 10 for 10 Wine Intelligence Business Awards event.

The two earlier events were held at Prowein and the London International Wine Fair, respectively, with Su Birch as the first awardee followed by Tim Atkins and Chester Osborne who were joint winners in the second round.
The awards were presented by two of the 10-member panel of judges, Ian Ford of Summergate Fine Wines and Paul Symington of Symington Family Estates.
The Wine Intelligence 10 for 10 Business Awards were created to mark the 10th anniversary of the founding of Wine Intelligence, which is now a global operation working in 20 countries.
The awards are designed to celebrate individuals in the wine business around the world, who have made a significant contribution to the success of the global wine industry over the past decade.
