If you’re looking to grow your wine cellar there’s probably no better time. Acker Merall & Condit, America’s oldest fine wine merchant will be offering a single cellar sale on May 28th & 29th. 1,820 lots featuring 19,024 bottles will be offered including 6,000 bottles form Bordeaux and close to 9,500 bottles from Burgundy. Included among the Bordeaux will be over 450 bottles that are pre-1961 Bordeaux with 181 coming from the famous 1961 vintage itself. There will also be around 400 bottles from the 1982 vintage (another fabulous vintage) and 3,000 bottles from the 2000 vintage.
