This is as it is, all year round. Next up is a three-day wine extravaganza that will surpass everything that has gone before by all accounts, an experience that will open up your taste buds and satisfy the best and most fastidious palates.

From the 14th to the 16th of October, the Art Concourse at The Oberoi, Gurgaon will be transformed into a theatre of wine in which the dramatis personae will be a team of professionals dedicated to ensure that your wine journey is not only enriching but also meaningful, through a series of wine tastings and curated master classes on themes surrounding wine and its finer nuances, in an engaging environment.
A hundred premium wines from across the world will be available for tasting with the representatives of prestigious houses like Marchesi de Barolo, Castello Banfi and Marchesi de Frescobaldi present. La Cave Fine Wine & Spirits, owned and managed by Madhulika Dhall, is the wine partner for the event. La Cave is opening up its cellar doors and presenting specially selected labels to provide wine lovers the opportunity to sample wines they may never have tasted before. “The Fine Wine Affair” at The Oberoi Gurgaon will be truly an affair to remember and the talk of the town. You can visit on any or all three days from Friday, October 14 to Sunday October 16, between 12 noon to 9.30 pm to taste and pair the finest wines while you interact with wine experts. The cost and timetable for each day is as follows:
Afternoon tasting of 10 labels:12 noon to 2.00pm and 2.30 to 4.30pm: Rs1,500 net per person. Evening tasting, 10 labels: 5.00 to 7.00pm and 7.30 to 9.30pm: Rs 2,000 net. The Master Classes are priced at Rs 500 per person and also include signature wines with artisanal pairings.

o Artisan Square: Meet the people behind the labels of award winning producers over a 45 minute detailed insight into what makes certain wines so special. The tickets are priced at Rs. 500 per person and also include signature wines along with tasty treats.
o Santé: In a section dedicated to the masters, learn how to prepare the perfect cheese board to go along with some delicious French wines, savour a classic gourmet butter along with a fresh homemade baguette or just relish the various flavours of inspired macarons.
o Emerged and Arrived: Understand and appraise the variety and beauty of new world wines from Australia and New Zealand along with their countries’ culinary favourite- the roasted lamb with homemade pickles.
o Para La Buena Salud: At the Latin American corner walk through the perfect combination of ceviche and wine, while also finding your ideal pair with their traditional confection- Alfajores.
o Stars and Stripes: Savour the New York cheesecake, Californian prunes and almonds and the household favourite apple pie along with wines from the county of Sonoma and the valleys of Napa, Columbia and Willamette.
• Saluti: While sipping on some exquisite Italian wines and antipasti, taste and revel in the variety of premium olives, cold meats and olive oils from this gastronomic centre.
