ProWein 2013 is on an expansion course with additional exhibition space and a new hall structure. From 24 to 26 March 2013, ProWein will occupy two additional halls at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre and meet visitor needs with an adapted new hall concept.
Open only to trade visitors, ProWein is a world-class concept where wines and spirits from 47 countries are presented and several hundred tastings and informative events are available. With its 3,981 exhibitors from some 50 countries and more than 40,600 trade visitors from throughout the world ProWein 2012 was the ultimate meeting point for the international wine and spirits sector, states a company news release.
Compared to the previous event in 2011 ProWein 2012 posted a plus of almost 300 exhibitors and was still unable to meet all participation requests.
“For the first time exhibition halls 1 and 2 located in the direct vicinity of the South Entrance, will now be added. ProWein 2013 will boast a completely reworked hall concept based on its proven structure according to wine-growing regions and range segments. This allows us to also guarantee an optimum framework for our customers’ needs in future.
“With our changes at the next ProWein we will further develop this unique marketing platform for the wine and spirits business together with our customers,” said Michael Degen, the Executive Director of Messe Düsseldorf responsible for ProWein.
