Parker approves 2004 Bordeau vintage

A vintage of “finesse, elegance and longevity” is how well-known American wine critic, Robert Parker, describes the 2004 vintage in Bordeaux, but he warns that it will only sell if the price is “significantly” lower than last year.

Sixty eight Chateaux have got at least 90 points. Pavie, Latour, Haut Brion, Lafite and Margaux all scored very well. However, Parker does not feel that the vintage is on par with teh highly successful 1996 or 2000 vintages, reports Decanter magazine.
