On November 3, leading international Champagne house Maison Mumm and internationally-renowned DJ, David Guetta came together to unveil a second music video during a concert in Melbourne to coincide with the Melbourne Cup horse racing carnival.
Known as “the race that stops a nation”, the Melbourne Cup is regarded as the most prestigious two-mile handicap in the world. With Maison Mumm’s impeccable credentials, the Champagne house adds prestige to global horse racing through its sponsorship of the Melbourne Cup Carnival whose winner receives a jeroboam of Mumm Cordon Rouge.
This time on November 3rd, while the race was still on, Maison Mumm started its celebrations with an exclusive one-night-only concert by Guetta at Melbourne’s Hisense Arena.
The new clip to the soundtrack of David Guetta’s latest single, “Bang My Head” features the DJ and a woman taking part in a breathtaking horse race in which Guetta makes a triumphant finish celebrating with a bottle of Mumm Cordon Rouge champagne – the ultimate icon of victory.
With these videos, Maison Mumm and Guetta have launched a unique campaign on social media. “We are very proud to be launching this new collaboration with David Guetta at the Melbourne Cup Carnival,” says César Giron, CEO of Maison Mumm. “The video clip is a great opportunity to reinforce the daring values of our brand.”
Mumm, which is a part of Martell Mumm Perrier-Jouët, the prestigious cognac and champagne business of Pernod Ricard, is a leading international champagne with a distinguished heritage dating back to 1827. Mumm Cordon Rouge, recognised by its red ribbon as a symbol of excellence, stands out by the freshness and intensity of its style, a style which successive generations of cellar masters have successfully maintained and handed down.
