The Wine Society of Delhi organized an evening of Jacob's Creek collection with a presentation and tasting led by Rob Raffa of Orlando Wyndham. Rob Raffa was visiting especially for the launch which was held on May 9th, 2005. This evening was co-hosted by ITC Maurya and was followed by dinner at The Sky Lounge.

Moet Hennessey hosted a full tasting of their Australian range from their Green Point label. John Harris Green Point's wine maker was especially invited for the event which was held at The Park. The event was held on May 1st, 2005.

The Delhi Wine Club is hosting a dinner that includes poached shrimp salad, lobster soup, beef tenderloin steak with Burgundy sauce and salmon steak from Norwegian salmon.

The Wine Society of Delhi organized an Italian dinner at Tonino accompanied by Chilean wines provided by wine society member Gurpreetesh S Maini of Rhine and Raavi. The even was held on March 29th, 2005.

The club organized a wine dinner on 18th March 2005, Friday at “Mainland China” with a range of wines from Chile. The Valdivieso Sauvignon Blanc and the Merlot 2001 (Tierruca) were among the wines served.

Gurgaon wine club will host a wine tasting event with four wines from Cremaschi Furlotti, Chile. Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay are the white wines and the reds will be Carmenere and Cabernet Saivignon. Cheese, breads and snacks will be provided by the hotel which is a new addition in Gurgaon. The event will be held at Sky Lounge, Sarovar Park Plaza Hotel on March 21st, 2005.

The Wine Society of Delhi did a tasting of Torres wines from Spain at the 1911 Bar at The Imperial Hotel. Mr. Christophe Brunet, Sommelier and Prestige Account Manager of Miguel Torres, Spain introduced the wines.

Mr. Fredric Drouhin of the Burgundy house Joseph Drouhin is visiting Delhi and will be presenting his wines with excellent Indian Cuisine with paired food and wines for members of the Delhi Wine Club, subscribers of Indian Wine Academy and visitors to localwineevents.com on March 2nd, 2005. The event is organised by the Park Hotel and Global Tax Free Traders, importers of these wines.
