New Casa Vinicola Zonin wines in India
Aspri Spirits recently introduced a new single vineyard range of wines from the Casa Vinicola Zonin group from Italy in the Indian market. Lorenzo Zonin - Marketing Manager, Zonin, who was in India for this occasion said, "Wine drinkers in India have grown more discerning and the Indian wine market has undergone tremendous growth in the last five years, hence we have introduced a new range of premium wines in India. We are very pleased with the acceptance of our wines here."

Founded in 1821, Casa Vinicola Zonin (CVZ) is a venerable wine brand and the largest private vine growing and winemaking company in Italy. The house produces 25 million bottles and exports its wines to 69 countries. The company's headquarters are located in Gambellara in Vicenza province in northeastern Italy.
The Zonin family owns 4,446 acres (17.99 km2) of vineyards, divided among 11 estates in seven of the country's most highly regarded winemaking regions: Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto, Friuli, Tuscany, Apulia and Sicily. They also own the Barboursville Vineyards winery in Barboursville, Virginia in the US. The house produces a wide range of wines, many of them from varieties native to the regions in which the grapes are grown.
The new range of Zonin wines that Aspri Spirits has introduced in India is:
Feudo Principi di Butera, Cabernet Sauvignon: a deep ruby red and full-flavoured wine with rich, fruity and floral notes. It has an intense bouquet, scents of ripe red fruit emerge, almost jamlike on the palate, with a light background of vanilla.
Feudo Principi di Butera Nero d'Avola is a dark ruby coloured wine made out of Nero d'Avola grapes with aromas and persistent hints of almond and intense spice. Also reminiscent of cherries in brandy, which alternate with very pleasant, spicy and long lasting flavours. Goes well with cheese, first course and meat dishes when served at 18° C.
Tenuta Ca'Bolani, Sauvignon Blanc Friuli DOC Aquileia is a white in nature wine made from Sauvignon Blanc grapes from the Aquileia, Fruili region.
Tenuta Ca'Bolani, Refosco Friuli DOC Aquileia is a red in nature wine from the Aquileia Friuli region made from Refosco grapes. It is a well balanced, full bodied wine with very good length on the finish and fresh fruity aromas.
Tenuta Ca'Bolani, Pinot Grigio Friuli DOC Aquileia is a white in nature wine made of Pinot Grigio grapes and is from Aquileia, Fruili region.
During the last few years, various recognitions have come for Feudo Principi di Butera,
Cabernet Sauvignon and Feudo Principi di Butera Nero d'Avola from top Italian guides and journals.
The new range of Zonin wines is priced at Rs. 2340 upwards and is available at all leading hotels, restaurants and select retail outlets across the country. Aspri Spirits started the exclusive import and distribution of CVZ wines in India three years ago.
