The International Food & Drink Expo India 2010

IFDE logo.jpgThe International Food & Drink Expo India 2010 received good news earlier this month with two key international trade associations confirming their support. Sopexa, responsible for promoting French food and beverage companies in potential export markets, organised a modest participation in the inaugural 2009 edition, but expect to deliver an increasednumber of exhibitors this year.

Serge Monzie, International Exhibitions Department, Sopexa said 'We are delighted to support the International Food & Drink Expo India once again. The Expo is the most comprehensive trade show gathering of international food and beverage companies in India, who are keen to interact with the country's buyers. We are looking forward to showcasing a great variety of high quality French products on the Sopexa pavilion.'

ProChile, who added to their global network with the opening of a new office in Delhi in 2009, have also confirmed they will be organising a pavilion this year. This is the first time Chile will be represented at the International Food & Drink Expo India and Nestor Riveros, Minister Counsellor (Commerical), ProChile India, is excited to be involved. He said 'ProChile is dedicated to supporting SME's in their trade expansion efforts. We are confident India offers a wealth of opportunities to Chilean food and beverage companies and the International Food & Drink Expo India 2010 is the best
possible platform for their entry into the market place.'

With a Chinese group of companies already confirmed and the prospect of pavilions from Australia,Italy, South Africa, UK and the USA, the International Food & Drink Expo India 2010 is on target to offer India's food, beverage and hospitality buyers the best possible mix of international and national suppliers, all under one roof.
The International Food & Drink Expo India 2010 will take place 2 - 4 December, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
