Brindco appoints new General Manager - Marketing
Brindco Limited, leading importer and distributor in India and part owner of Grover Vineyards, has appointed Christophe Orlarei as General Manager, Marketing with effect from July 7th, 2009. In other news, Dr. Ariff Jamal who was the CEO of Grover Vineyards is returning to France after having completed his one year assignment. He had earlier helped build Brindco Sales and was instrumental in the exponential growth of its imported wine portfolio in India.
Regarding the new appointment, Aman Dhall, Executive Director, said, "The wine industry is growing at a fast rate. The increasing competition requires professionalism and efficiency. Brindco has appointed Mr. Christophe Orlarei as GM Marketing to meet the growing needs of the market."
Orlarei brings over 14 years of experience in the hospitality industry and extremely sharp management skills along with industry know-how. He has a Master's Degree in restaurant management from "l'Ecole de Paris des Métiers de la Table" and a Bachelor's Degree from "Ecole Hoteliere de St-Quentin-en-Yvelines", Paris.
His global work experience stretches from the US to Britain and France, working variously at The New York Palace Hotel - Dorchester Group, Waldorf Astoria Hotel - Hilton Corporation, Hilton Atlanta and Towers in the US; Les Ambassadeurs Club, Green's Restaurant, Criterion and Quo Vadis restaurants, Group Marco Pierre White in London; and Hotel Montalembert and Hotel Duboucheron in Paris.
