2004 Grand Vin De Bordeaux Bellevie, Blanc, 2002 Grand Vin De Bordeaux Bellevie, Rouge, 2003 Château Carillon, Saint Emilion, 2002 Chateau Lafitte Laujac, Medoc, were the four wines that were paired with the food.
Chateau d'Ori imports a selection of five wines from the Bordeaux region. Their domestic wines are expected to be out in the market later in December. Chateau d'Ori is a wine estate sprawling over a hundred acres at Dindori, north of Nasik. The vineyard is situated at the base of the twin hills, locally known as Nera-Ori, and is blessed with ideal climatic conditions for the cultivation of vines.
The selection of AOC (Appellation d'Origine Controlee) wines from Bordeaux served at Le Meridien were a prelude to the wines to be produced at Chateau d'Ori's own vineyards which are presently being cultivated under the watchful eye of the Bordeaux wine master and award winning oenologist, Athanase Fakorellis.
