Reva K. Singh is a veteran of the Indian publishing industry and edited The Oberoi Group Magazine for six years prior to publishing and editing Sommelier India. Before that she was the Senior & Book Review Editor of World Affairs, The Journal of International Issues.
She has led
or been on the editorial team of several high profile publications in
India and abroad over her 25-year publishing career. These include Hong

She has been quoted in newspapers and magazines around the world discussing the wine culture in India. Reva has an MA in English Literature from Delhi University (Miranda House) and is a graduate of the Radcliffe Publishing Course, Harvard University.

Shiv Singh has worked in new media for over ten years. Most recently he served as a national director at Avenue A | Razorfish, one of the largest independent interactive agency in the world. Avenue A | Razorfish clients include Best Buy, CondeNast Publications Ltd, Citigroup, Expedia, Ford Motor Company, The New York Times and Time Warner.

Shiv has worked in the Boston, New York, London and San Francisco offices of Avenue A | Razorfish. He is an alumni of The Doon School, Babson College (USA) and the London School of Economics & Political Science. He splits his time between New York and New Delhi.
Both publishers are keen wine enthusiasts.
Advisory Council
Dr Ariff Jamal is a wine maker and an independent international wine consultant. Until recently, he was the Chief Wine Maker and Export Director of Albert Bichot, a Burgundy wine maker that was established in 1831. He trained as chemist, has published two books and is a professional wine taster as well.
Dhruv Sawhney is a Past President of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Chairman, CII Agriculture Council. Mr Sawhney is also the Chairman and Managing Director of Triveni Engineering & Industries Ltd. Mr. Sawhney recently received the highest civilian award “Chevalier de la Legion d’Honneur” from President Chirac of the French Republic.
Stephen Espie is a free-lance writer and retired American diplomat who has lived in India 19 years. He's been organising blind wine tastings since age 25. Long ago he was wine editor of "Gourmet" magazine. He also was founder of one of that city's first wine-tasting clubs, back when the thing to drink in Manhattan was dry martinis.

Guild which brings together the resources of the top educators,
industry leaders, premier restaurateurs, wine merchants, wineries and
writers. The ISG has accredited Sommeliers for over 18 years
and is the only wine and spirit education body that is licensed by
various State Boards of Higher Education in the United States. |
