From home grown Sicilian varietals such as Nero d’Avola & Grillo to Spanish Tempranillo, from American oak aged Merlots and Cabernet Sauvignons to French oaked Chardonnays, wine aficionados will be spoilt for choice at the Bandra Wine Tasting Festival.
There’s lots to do. You can attend wine appreciation and aroma sessions; participate in tasting contests; sample gourmet food; interact with master wine makers and educators; watch cooking with wine shows; check out hard-to-find Indian artisanal cheeses and then chill out on a tree-fringed lawn listening to live jazz. The weekend walk-through festival promises to delight everyone from the wine curious to the expert.
The Festival is organized by Pune Gourmet Club and takes place on Oct. 30 & 31, D’Monte Park, Perry Road, Bandra (w), Mumbai. 12 noon to 10:30pm both days.
